reuben 1st birthday

Cindy ordered a set of cupcakes for her colleague not too long ago. She enquire about a valentine inspired cupcakes set in feb, but 9-5 me didn't have one this year :(

I was very grateful that she still remembers me when this opportunity to do a birthday cake / present for a boy came up. :) *thanks Cindy!!!!

again, we talked about what kind of decorations we should do, type of cupcakes, colours etc etc etc. Funnily, we came up with the same sort of colour scheme!!!

Like always, she writes a very nice email after the event. Loves this kind of feedback!!! :)

a 21st celebration

Pamela asked for a ladybug decoration. She has a red and black theme for her 21st birthday celebration.

We bounce ideas, and come up with a the sinful dark chocolate cupcakes, simply decorated with "21" cutouts and the ladybug.

The simple decoration works really well i think!! and with 4o cupcakes lined up, i think the effect is quite stunning.

baby's first month

So this posting is long overdue. This is an order from end of last year.
Debby got my details off the local magazine and enquire about getting cakes for her son's one month celebration.

Excited for the opportunity, I jumped on it.

Each of the sleeping babies are hand made, and the face painted on. Thus, every one of them are slightly different from the next.

The cakes themselves are chocolate mudcakes with cream cheese frosting.
